Vung Tau Beach City
Vung Tau is a popular weekend escape from Ho Chi Min, only 2 hours away from the capital that features beachfront resorts, delicious seafood, and a more traditional Vietnamese experience.
The most famous landmark is the Christ of Vung Tau, a towering 105 ft. tall structure akin to Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Make the trek up the mountain and into the statue for an aerial view of the city and beaches before exploring the French garrisons that dot the hillside.
Vung Tau Delicacy
Vung Tau is the birthplace of one of the most loved Vietnames dish, banh khot. These are crispy cakes with a plump shrimp in the center. Roll them up in lettuce and herbs and dunk in fish sauce for a perfect Vietnamese seaside snack.
About TRIFACTOR Vietnam

The race swim course at Back Beach (Bai) was evaluated the most difficult and toughest swim course of triathlon races organized in Vietnam. The fast bike course and the scenic run course is also voted as the best course in Vietnam.
Whatever your age or ability, A TRIFACTOR race will always have a distance just right for you.

ASIAN TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP
The event organizers, volunteers and local police did a really great job of closing the roads and keeping them closed – not an easy task in Vietnam.
Off the bike and onto the run, the sun was out and it was hot. I wanted to run right into the ocean to cool down, but soon enough I was near the finish and a cold Saighon beer!
We are ecstatic with the success of the inaugural race in Vietnam. I am humbly honored to have many international participants racing in this TRIFACTOR race.
I do look forward to work with our partners Key Power Sports Vietnam and Vietnam MTB Series to grow the TRIFACTOR vision further in Vietnam.
